On October 27th I posted a blog entitled Ask Me ANYTHING! in which I invited you to ask me any question that you wanted to! I was very pleased with the number of responses I recieved, and I got some very interesting questions, which I will answer now!

Questions From IdaPida!

  1. What is your biggest achievement? That’s a really tough question. When I was in school I won a few awards for my grades, one for Government and Politics, and one for contribution to the music department, but although they were really nice to get, I think my biggest achievement is university. Before university I was adamant that I didn’t want to go. I’m very much a mummy’s boy, in the fact that she’s one of my best friends, and I used to depend on her a lot, so I didn’t think I would be able to cope being away. In the past two and a bit years I’ve really grown up a lot, and become a better and more independent person. I think that’s my biggest achievement… so far, anyway.
  2. If you could pick one person to meet, dead or alive, who would it be? Another really tough question! I change my mind on stuff like this all of the time, and to be honest I’m not sure there is a single person that I could choose. At the moment I’d love to meet Gok Wan, because I think he’s hilarious, and inspirational. I also think that he seems like a really lovely, genuine person, and I think we’d get along.
  3. Who’s the fittest celeb ever, alive or dead? Well to be honest, dead people don’t really do it for me. Skeletons aren’t really my thing. I think that Zac Efron is undeniably good looking. He has one of those perfect faces. I think I’d have to choose him, although after I’ve watched New Moon I might change my mind to Taylor Lautner!
  4. What is your best asset? (Is that how you spell it?) Firstly, yes that is how you spell it Ida! Physically, I think I have nice eyes, and I like my nose and lips.  I’ve been told I have nice hands and forearms as well. However, in a cringe-worthy clichéd “personality counts more” kinda way, I would say that my best asset is my sense of humour. I think a lot of people like me for that. OH WAIT! I forgot my hair! Screw personality! Haha.
  5. What do you want to do when you finish uni? Honestly, I’m not sure. In an ideal world I would win a lot of money, and live in luxury for the rest of my days, but the chances are slim! I don’t really know what job I want just yet, which is a bit scary.
  6. Can you burn me a CD of you singing for Christmas? Easy question. Of course I will! Do you have any special requests to appear on the CD?
  7. When did you stop believing Santa was real? Santa’s not real!? You just ruined Christmas for me, Ida! I have a memory of being in the kitchen at my old house, and telling my mum I didn’t think that he was real. We moved out of that house in 2000, so I must have been about eight or nine.
  8. How did you find out? It was probably at school, and then I asked mum and she told me for certain. I wasn’t upset, so don’t worry.
  9. What is your dream Halloween/Fancy Dress costume? Well, as you saw from my Halloween blog, my dream Halloween costume is a vampire! If I’d have had more time I would have liked to have had some contact lenses to make my eyes a different colour or something. I think in general, I like fancy dress as long as I have plenty of time, and can get something amazing to wear. I hate it if it’s last minute, and half-hearted though.

A Question from Drea!

  1. Why does your hair look so soft? I’m jealous haha I use Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner. Other than that, it must just be natural!

Questions From Renate!

  1. What was your very first thought when you first saw the guys in McFly? I first saw McFly in the Five Colours video. I have to say that at first I thought that Danny was the hottest, because I liked his hair. I also thought Dougie was cute. I thought that their names were the other way around at first though, because of how they come up in the video. I didn’t really notice Harry, and I must admit that I didn’t really like Tom at all. How things change!
  2. What was your very first thought when you then heard them? Again, I have to admit that when I first heard Five Colours I wasn’t a massive fan. I was never a fan of Busted, and I thought that they were just trying to be busted so I didn’t really like them. To be honest, I only started really liking them, kind of obsessively back in the day, when the second album came out. I was rather infatuated with Dougie at that time. Looking back it was rather funny. However, it did mean that I listened to them more, and appreciated that they made really great music.
  3. If Zac Efron were laying in your bed, dead drunk, would you take advantage of it? I’d get the camera out and make the most of it. I’d wait for his approval to do anything else… or it would be a bit rape-y. Haha.
  4. Do you think Coca-Cola curtains are cool? …I have a vague recollection that you have Coca-Cola curtains in your room in Wolves. I think you may have sent me a picture of them once when we were chatting on msn. Therefore, seeing as you have them, they must be cool!
  5. Honestly, do you think me and my boyfriend look cute together? :p No, Renate. You look horrid together. I joke of course. I think you look lovely together. You both have really nice hair, and as we learnt from Ida’s question earlier, good hair is the most important asset a person can have! I must say though, in one picture it looks like he’s biting you. That freaks me out a bit… it’s jealousy mostly. Haha.
  6. If you could choose, cheese or ham? Cheese. Cheese is food sent down from heaven, and makes everything taste better. Think about it… cheese on toast, cheese fondue, cheese on pizza, cheese grated on Italian food… the possibilities are endless!
  7. What is worst, pins and needles or gas? Well that’s an original question if ever I heard one. I’ve never been asked that on a MySpace quiz, that’s for sure. I have to say that I absolutely love pins and needles. That might be weird but I think it’s great! I love it when it’s numb and you can just begin to feel it getting tingly… and although it’s painful, I can’t help but laugh when someone hits my legs. Gas, however, is disgusting.
  8. Who would play you in a film about your life, and why? Well obviously I look exactly the same as Zac Efron, so that’s not hard casting. Haha. I don’t know really!
  9. What would be the plot in the film about your life? To be pedantic, the plot would be my life! …otherwise it wouldn’t be a film about my life, now would it! I think they’d have to add some stuff though, because even I wouldn’t go and see that film. Boring!
  10. Do you feel cooler knowing your green on DF and not ordinary black? Dear God yes I do! As we know Renate, all of the best people are green! Seriously though, I remember when I was made green, and I loved it. Realistically I just get high off the fact that I can tell people off. Just kidding!

Questions From Josh!

  1. Would you still like McFly, even a little bit, if they were all as ugly as Gordon Brown? Josh, Gordon Brown is a stone cold fox, and I won’t hear anything against his beautiful face… even if he does only have one of his own eyes… To be honest, I first got into McFly because they were hot, then I discovered as a side talent they were also good at music, so I don’t know if I would have started listening to them if they were ugly. Maybe I’m not giving myself enough credit.
  2. Right of left handed? Josh, I said none of those type of questions! Haha. I’m right handed. My left hand is pretty close to useless. That makes it sound like I have some kind of deformity in my left hand. I don’t.
  3. Are you a cat or dog kinda guy? I really don’t like large dogs. By large dogs I mean dogs that are at or above the height where they can inquisitively sniff you in inappropriate places. I also don’t like it if people don’t keep their dogs clean. Cats, however, I find to be a bit boring once they get past the playful kitten stage. When I’m older I would like a little ginger cat called Tom, and a little dog, whose name, and breed I haven’t yet decided.
  4. Do you want to swap your God-like mod status on DF with my lowly peasant one please? Only for a considerable sum of money. I worked hard so that I can bitch at people.
  5. If you couldn’t do a degree in whatever you’re doing (politics isn’t it?) what would you do instead? Not including ANYTHING similar xD If I hadn’t done a politics degree I wanted to do one in history. Thinking about it with hindsight I think that I would have preferred that, but I love what I’m doing and never would have met the people I’m with now. Is history too similar to politics? If not history, then I have no idea. I did History, Politics, Geography, and Physics at A-Level. I think Geography would have been ultra-dull at degree level, and I got a D in physics, so I’m pretty sure that avenue was closed! Haha.
  6. Is David Beckham hot or not? I think he’s a bit over-rated. Yes, he is good looking, but not as much as everyone thinks, and certainly not with that ugly beard.
  7. Coca-Cola, or Pepsi? Pepsi, I think. It has a nicer flavour, and is less bubbly. I used to be afraid of fizzy drinks when I was younger.
  8. Did you do D of E at school? How far did you get? I didn’t do D of E. The thought of hawling a massive rucksack across the Kentish countryside, and sleeping in a field normally inhabited by a herd of cows isn’t really something that appealed to me somehow.
  9. Favourite American Idol winner? Well, my favourite contestant was Adam Lambert, although as we all know, he was ROBBED of his victory. Haha. As for the winners, I really like Kelly Clarkson. I didn’t at the time, but her second and fourth albums are great. I also like Fantasia, and Carrie Underwood.
  10. If you could ask me any question, what would it be? Now the tables are turned, it amazes me how people managed to come up with any questions at all! This is difficult! In an ideal world, is there anything about yourself, either your appearance or personality, that you would change? Also, who is your ideal man, and why?

Questions From Chelle!

  1. If you found out that any member of McFly was a complete asshole (and I mean like punching babies, throwing glass at people) would you still like them? Did you not hear that Harry was a convicted baby puncher before he joined McFly? Seriously though, if one of them did something seriously bad then I wouldn’t like that individual anymore, but as a band I’d still like them, probably.
  2. Have you ever deep conditioned your hair? I have to say I’m not entirely sure what a deep condition is. I use conditioner when I wash my hair, but is deep conditioning something more? If so, then no I haven’t.
  3. What’s your biggest guilty pleasure? Honestly, I don’t really feel that guilty about any of the stuff I like. I was going to put Ashley Tisdale’s latest album, but I don’t really feel any guilt for that.
  4. If you could be a type of tree, what kind would you be, and why? …well that’s an unusual one! I think I would either be a big oak tree, an acer, or a willow. An oak because they’re massive and strong, an acer because they’re really pretty, and a willow because they’re always found in nice locations next to lakes, and stuff like that.
  5. If you were going to write a song about yourself, what would be the title? Wake Me Up. In a simple sense, because of the fact I need encouraging to get out of bed, and more deeply because sometimes I need to be woken up from my little idyllic dream world for my own well being.
  6. In a “Rock, paper, scissors shoot” game, what do you usually pick first, and why? Unfortunately I will not give away my answer to this question in case we ever have to rock, paper, scissors battle over something.
  7. How do you feel about Lady Gaga? I have her album, and I really loved it when I first got it. There are only a few songs on the album that I listen to now because it’s been overplayed on the radio. She’s absolutely amazing when she’s live and acoustic, but I wish she’d drop her stupid act, because it’s just weird.
  8. If you had to pick one member of DF to fight in a battle royale, who would it be, and who do you think would win? Now, in the interest of preserving the peace I would have a battle royale with any of the weird trouble-makers that sometimes come on, and of course I would win, because I’d have everybody backing me up. If all else fails, I’ll just be a coward and do a drive-by on them.

Questions I didn’t get asked, but stole from Renate’s blog!

  1. What’s your favourite piece of clothing? I really liked this question, which is why I’ve stolen it (with permission, of course!) I like it because it makes me think about my clothes, which is always fun for me! I have lots of things I love, but my favourite item would have to be… my Levi Twisted fit jeans. They’re not particularly beautiful, but they’re so comfortable! I got them in a sale a couple of years ago for £50 and they’ve certainly been worth it!

    I love them!

    I love them!

  2. How many times a day do you HAVE to check your Facebook or blog? I get bored way too easily, so if I’m at home not doing anything I’m pretty much constantly checking Facebook. I’m a massive Facebook whore. I don’t think I could count the number of times I check it. I think it’s the same for most students! As for my blog, I probably check that once or twice a day. It depends whether I’ve posted anything, but I like to come and check for comments, and to look at how many views I’ve got. Vanity really! Haha.
  3. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be? I would be at the top of the Hotel Porta Nova in Tavira Portugal, at bar Panaramico sipping cocktails. I’ve written a blog about it way back. I went last time with my excellent friends Gareth and Verity, but it would be a dream of mine if I could get all of my friends to go. I think that would be my perfect evening. Cocktails, warmth, and beautiful company.
  4. What’s the biggest amount of money you have spent on a piece of clothing? The most expensive item of clothing that I’ve ever bought was a large winter coat. It was about four years ago, and it was made by Racing Green. It cost £150, but it was down from £300. It’s seen a lot of use over the years, and I look forward to it being cold enough to warrant wearing it again… even if it is massively too large!
  5. What kind of teenager were you? Well I only stopped being one a couple of months ago! To be honest, I think I was quite a good teenager. I didn’t really go through the phase where you act sullen and sulky all the time, although I was known to have a few explosions of anger. I didn’t get any spots either, which all of my friends hated me for. If I ever did get one I used to say to them “Oh my God! I think I’m getting my first ever spot!” That used to annoy them!
  6. What kind of posters were hanging on your walls when you were about 16? When I was 16 I was a little bit obsessive compulsive. I’d only just redesigned my room, and I didn’t want any posters up, as I wanted my room to look grown up, and like it had come from the page of a magazine. I only put posters up at uni because I can’t decorate, but I’d never put posters up in my room at home, simply because I’m too uptight about my scheme!

Thank you for all of the questions! I enjoyed answering them!

Some people who’s had these question-answer rounds have had some decent questions, but ruined it by boring answers. You however, are epic.
Seriously, somehow you need to become a writer of some sort, because everything you write, short or pages long, are worth reading.

“Well to be honest, dead people don’t really do it for me. Skeletons aren’t really my thing.”

Could be the lack of sleep from last night *wiggly wiggly*, or the fact that you are a funny guy, but heck that made me laugh. Not the loud, over the top kinda laughter, but the more giggling quietly to myself, thinking what a joker that Mr. Foreman is.

Lovely jeans there, nothing beats a great pair of jeans. I want more now. Can never get enough can you?

And you know, you can steal whatever off my blog, being mentioned on yours is an honor anyway!

Oooh and you do know I share your view on that Efron guy, he’s hanging on me wall looking all smashing as always. They have a 2010 Zac Efron calendar in HMV where all the images of him are nothing but perfection. Perfection I tell you!

Okay I need to watch your lates vlog now!

I actually laughed out loud at *wiggly wiggly* hahaha.

You can never get enough jeans! I have 20 pairs. I want 200. haha.

I’ve seen the 2010 calendar. He looks amazing in it. My only complaint is he’s wearing too many clothes. haha
