Song of the Week

August 2, 2010

This week there’s a lot of competition for my favourite song. Before the weekend I didn’t have a clear winner, but one of my prospective choices meant more to me after the weekend. Most of the possibilities were from Automatic Loveletter‘s new album Truth or Dare, although there were a few others, such as Slow Dance With A Stranger by Danger Radio and Made Up Stories by Go:Audio. I’d recommend going and listening to both of them.

My song of the week this week though is the first track from Automatic Loveletter‘s album, which I liked initially but didn’t love. After a few more listens where I’ve taken in the lyrics it’s become one of my favourites on the album.

Song of the Week; Heart Song – Automatic Loveletter

I’m in love with it at the moment. Mainly because I’m currently liking shouting along to the chorus. What do you think? If you didn’t see me review of their album Truth or Dare, then go and have a read of that too. You can find it here! And have a listen to my suggested songs.

kinda reminds me of fall out boy for some reason, i think it’s just the intro though. Think I’m thinking of I don’t care. it’s sorta the same style, and that’s not a bad thing.

Strange hearing juliet sing like this, because i’m more used to the slow and vulnerable songs, but definitely a song I can come to like a lot.

I don’t have that Fall Out Boy song, so I can’t really compar.

Yeh, the first I heard of her was through ATL, but then I bought their EP a while ago so I’m used to her doing faster stuff as well. You should get the album! It’s amazing!
